Winslow Homes Wins Gold in Area Parade of Homes
Here at Winslow Homes we believe in our team, our mission, and the quality of our work, which is why it comes as no surprise when others believe in us, too. We continue to receive positive feedback from the community on our custom homes. This year’s Tri-County Parade of Homes gave us the opportunity to show off some of our best work and to have it judged by local experts.
Spoiler Alert: We Won Gold!
For those unfamiliar with the “parade,” you’re missing out. It’s a yearly open house tour of new homes in Franklin, Granville, and Vance counties that is free to the public to come and see up close & personal. So, if you are as passionate about beautiful custom homes as we are (which would be tough), we encourage you to start attending these exciting events to see what new and exciting designs we’ve brought to life.
This year’s event was over three consecutive Saturdays and Sundays in late September and early October. From noon to 5 p.m. on each day, the chosen homes opened up, and community members got the chance to see some of the amazing custom homes that have been built in their neighborhoods.
How we fared
We had a number of homes in the running and had a lot of great interactions with the residents and builders on our work. Winslow Homes brought home the Gold in this year’s Tri-County Parade of Homes after our four entries received high marks.
In the Brookshire community in Youngsville, we had two entries we called “The Westbrook” and “The Graham.” Also, in Youngsville, the South Hall community had another pair of our homes on display: “The Glenn Cross” and “The Jasmine.”
Each of these designs was well-received by both judges and attendees of the Parade of Homes. In fact, one of our homes “The Graham”, had the highest score of any of the nearly 50 homes judged!

While it is always amazing to receive accolades of this kind, we know we couldn’t do it without many other people who create our incredible team. Of course, our Winslow Homes team is the force that brings all of our designs to life. Each member fulfills an important part of the operation.
We are also grateful to all our trade partners and suppliers for their hard work and craftsmanship. Winslow Homes chooses whom we work with very carefully, and the fact that we see these kinds of results also reflects on each of them and their ability to accomplish what we ask of them.
